There are many challenges to reach a lupus diagnosis and it nearly takes six years on average to get diagnosed.

Over 63% of people with lupus report being incorrectly diagnosed and over 55% report seeing four or more different. healthcare providers before getting accurately diagnoses.

90% of people living with lupus are women.

Lupus is 2 to 3 times more prevalent among African American, Hispanic/Latina, Asian American, North American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander women than among White women.

Some of the most difficult parts of coping with lupus is pain at 65%, lifestyle changes at 61% and emotional problems at 50%.

Our support group is open to anyone, women, men, to any caregivers, family members, close friends of those inflicted by lupus.
